Crosfields v West Bank

Today saw the under 7s welcome West Bank with glorious sunshine the day was set to be a great contest. West Bank set out well scoring of the first set, but Crosfields kept their heads up and remained composed pulling back to 2-1 before the first breàk, it was a great debut performance by Charlie Smithson.
The second quarter saw Crosfields take the game to another level with some fabulous runs and strong legs from Alex Dowd. It was a close match right to the end with Crosfields defence letting Westbank in for the final try in the dying seconds. Some outstanding runs from Connor Mahoney secured his star player award, and the continuous tackles and outstanding effort gave Finn Hammill the tackle champion trophy for the second time this season!
