Today's match went ahead in heavy rain in which Crosfields produced an outstanding performance that left anything but heavy hearts.

Amazing leaps forward in defending as a team and driving the opposition back on the tackle put Crosfields in a great position for Charlie " 2 breakfasts" Mather make a darting run over the try line to further extend the lead.
Ben Haughton scored his 2nd try in the 3rd quarter leaving him expectant of a call from Steve McNamara with some fantastic forward play.
Finn Hammill wrapped up the scoring in the 4th to make the game 6-3 to Crosfields.
Ben Haughtons display which saw him bring the marked improvement in training into the game earned him a well deserved Star player award.
With such a good defensive display Tackle champion was hard to pick this week, however Charlie Smithson put Some amazing tackles in which showed all what we can expect to see from him as he establishes himself in this team.
Pilks rec were great hosts and have a squad that were a credit to the club and coaches. This Made the performance from Crosfields all the more pleasing.
