Today saw the return of some good form at home for the u7s. Haydock arrived with low numbers due to sickness but Crosfields true to their great sportsmanship shared players and the game got underway with some great runs and tackles for both teams. It was a fabulous strong performance from Alex Welsby scoring his first competitive try, as well as completing some important goal line tackles. Even with some key players away on leave this week the team stood strong and with Mitch Ireland's tackling the game remained in Crosfields control. The ultimate goal line tackle had Mitch grappling Haydocks strongest player for 5 metres to keep him out by inches, earning Mitch Ireland tackle champion this week. With the overall power and team play from the centre of the pitch today all team members shone but Joseph Gough showed just how his determination and vision enaabled him to make plays not just for himself but others earning him star player this week. Once again smiles all around!
