Perfect conditions lent themselves to a good game, the pitch size suited Cobras as it allowed expansive play whilst giving the boys room to stretch their legs as well. The mazy runs resulted in a number of long distance try's, and room to offload meant support play paid dividends a number of times. Both Reagan and Joe broke out of tackles to complete speedy runs for tries. Isaac and Josh both had barnstorming runs where Hindley couldn't lay hands on them for their tries, and Fin did his usual rangey run to pay off twice in the final quarter. Spencer and Joe also forced their way over the line as well. Special mention to both Ali and Robbie, who both laid down amazing pace and both took support seriously to score from teammates offloads. Robbie, Spencer and Reagan also put in amazing shifts in Defence which saved numerous tries.
We also need to appreciate no.27 from Hindley-Archie, he was tireless all match and led from the front, however Cobras handled him well and shared the Defensive work well enough that he couldn't change the result.
