Match report-
In warm spring sunshine the Cobras came up against a tough Jude's outfit and this led to one of the toughest games of the season to date. Quarter 1 was the Finn and Spencer show, both took brilliant braces showing off wide running and quick changes of direction. Finn especially quick in the sun ran from left to right bamboozling the defence for a glorious score. Spencer went over in the corner after some brilliant passing especially offloads from Joe G.
Qtr 2 was tense, with nobody scoring until Nathan went over in min5 followed by a lovely angled run by Josh in minute 6, however Jude's managed to get two at the end of the Qtr keeping things all square.
Qtr 3 was the turning point, Jude's running in 4 tries to Cobras 2. Ali and Robbie both scored good tries, with Robbies coming off an excellent passing move.
Qtr 4 was started off with Finn showing his attacking skills, and taking a few shots for his troubles as well. But he got up and carried on and bookended the Qtr with another score along the line. In between Regan came close, and Sam benefited from the hard work with a score, and Spencer scored for his HT.
Unfortunately Jude's were able to match Cobras in the Qtr which meant they held their 2 score advantage. A tough game was probably one the boys will remember for a number of reasons, chiefly that defence wins games, and the need to share the work in tough matches gets results and that some refs police the line strictly!

Final score 12- 14 away win.
