The soap were out of the blocks early with Nathan going over from an excellent cut out pass off Isaac, before LMR took a command of the Qtr. It was Regan who started the fight back bouncing off the floor and playing to the ref to barge (can Reg barge or burrow?) over for our only other try. Ali had gone close and so did Spencer but the Qtr finished 4-2.
Q2 was where soap got more into the game, Josh stiff armed at least 4 LMR to go over, then Flying Finn the try machine got the first of his FIVE bagger. And boy was it a peach, dummy then dove over into the corner. He followed it with another in the corner later, then Joe went on a mazy run from half way and he found the chalk (cones) as well.
Q3 started knock for knock, Joe and Finn going over before Nathan scored a peach, coming off Isaac onto Josh onto Nat then a cross field run, Bazinga. Sam was held up short but from the next drive Finn went over setting up a grandstand finish.
Q4 was where the game was won, drives off Dan and Robbie, came close but it was Spencer who scored in between Josh's match winning brace. Huge shout to Regan who in the last 3 Sets in D made 5 tackles, with 3 on the bounce in one set. This allowed Soap to go down field and score on the final set to take the lead for the first time.
Jnr Soap are showing more composure on the ball, better accuracy of passing and more work in D is being shared (3 players on 10+each tackles for the first time). It's not just catch and run!
