Changeable weather and a few tired eyes meant the boys were still a little slow in the warm up but once we got underway it's business as usual. Early tries in Q1 from L-Bomb and Finn set the tone and the Cobras never really looked challenged from then on. A constant flow of tries followed, with 7 from each set of players. What was apparent though was one set had slightly better D, as all 4 Bears tries came against the Q2/4 team. That's not to say they were less able, just a bit looser in D at certain points. Bear in mind 6 players made 8 or more individual tackles, excellent effort!
There were some excellent scores again this week, especially the drives that took Bears players with them!
Highlights- Regan sliding over last few yards from good 30m run, Sam barging from his own half, grimacing with determination! Josh Y's first drive try to answer back after conceding and not to forget Charlie and Robbie both burrowing away to get over.
There's getting too much to mention in the report, so sorry if I missed anything, and it's probably time we got a seeded pot as we are seeing similar results each week now. But if there was one lesson this week, it was never do a bank job with Spencer Buller coz he is a bad grass lol! I had Josh as getting the ball down, but guess who scored off the following run!! Method in the madness eh Jeanette Buller
Anyway, Isaac is away for the next two weeks so I look forward to the report being done by somebody else, just make sure it's posted before Poldark, please.
