It takes real spirit to face adversity head on and still perform, still fight through the pain when you know it may be in vain, still get up and drag yourself into the fight. So big up to the Dads that made it this morning!
Lol, on a serious note, Chester kept playing even with the mismatch in physicality, skills and understanding of the game. But it's a Rugby League family we have and they are welcome in it for me!
To the match, I have about 6 tries off first or second drives in a set, which makes for one sided matches especially with low scoring opponents, but that's sport, sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail!
We have a brilliant piece of sportsmanship off Finn, who I think forgot he was at first receiver and LEGGED IT.... until he remembered he was supposed to pass it! But he got one back off Josh in the next set so bravo boys. There was hardly a walk in today so it's a bit unfair to single out any scorers, but the boys showed in the second half they are learning the game properly by playing without a coach and doing everything themselves. Keep it up kids and remember folks if you wash your head-guards they don't go in the tumble dryer! I thought Josh's head had got a growth spurt that his body had missed.
