Great to see seeds of organisation, and passing more structured, but as ever, let's just give them a big hand for taking to the pitch.

Highlights Reel-
Sometimes appearances can be deceptive, and anyone who has spent time in St Helens will know the appearance I'm talking about, but the absolutely fabulous facilities at Ruskin Drive gave us lovely surroundings for a cracking game of rugby.
As the game kicked off it was already 1-0 to Soap. I had barely time to write the squad down before Josh crashed over! Regan ran the next in off some nice drives, This was followed by a brilliant show n go off Ali who took to the first receiver role with gusto, try time. Nat finished the Q off with dancing footwork, set up from two dummy a balls by Ali. Soap went in 4-1.
The second Q was again full of nice running, but the D dropped off slightly and Pilks bagged 3. Sam drove over, good running Pezo, and then he set up Lewis for his first wideout try scoring run later. Robbie zipped over and later Ali managed a super sprint That took him just over with defenders hot on his tail.
Q3 showed signs the sun was taking its toll, but the soap didn't melt in the heat. Sam went over from an A-ball off Josh, all that training is paying off. Isaac opened his account for the year with his trademark dive after a 20-yard touchline hugging run. Then Flying Finn shot half the length of the pitch to his try.
Q4 was all about the Hat Tricks, Lewis bookended the Q with a brace, and Ali got his in the middle of the quarter.
Another convincing performance, however, the sun was warm and this showed mostly in D, with the boys mostly working in groups rather than individually. Let's not take anything away from them though, under those sweaty head guards the boys were showing determined effort. Great to see seeds of organisation, and passing more structured, but as ever, let's just give them a big hand for taking to the pitch.
Next week we will be passing the hat round for a nickname for Lewis, coz it was getting confusing when you were all shouting my name.......Love Statto!
