Vipers off to a winning start

A great start to the Season for the Vipers with an 11-5 victory over a Rylands Tiger Sharks.

The game saw debuts for Jacob Allcock and Tyler Mills with Jacob collecting a debut try with one of his first early touches.

Defensively the team took another step forward with strong performances from all the boys, Joe Harding collecting the Hitman Award just ahead of the impressive Harvey Holt and Bobby Hill.

With Ben Haughton Alex Dowd and Mitch Ireland leading the team around the pitch the Vipers grew in confidence.
Henry Briscoe stood out with the ball in hand collecting 4 tries and was well supported by Luke Taylor who collected a brace.

Captain for the day Jaden Penny collected the opposition coach MOM, with Henry Briscoe in 2nd and Alex Dowd in 3rd.

Overall a good team performance to start the year.
