It is with deepest regret that the Crosfields Rugby community announce the loss of one of its finest players, coach and friend David Boden.
It is difficult to describe the influence that Dave has had on the club since his earlier involvement as a waterboy, through to a much respected junior, senior player, friend, coach and mentor.
The legacy and inspiration he has created will be felt well beyond his passing and his infectious passion and unique humour will be missed with much fondness by many of his friends and peers in the club. A sentiment reflected in the outpouring of emotion by the community in recent posts.
Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, two boys and his immediate family at this time.
As a club we will no doubt be celebrating his life at some stage, but respect the family’s time to grieve at such an early stage. Further information will be posted regarding the funeral or memorial activities
