Scholarship success continues for young Soap Stars

Scholarship success continues for young Soap Stars

Paul Arnison1 Sep 2015 - 21:43

Following on from the clubs success over the last few years another 3 soap youngsters have agreed to join Warrington on Scholarships in 2015

This is a fantastic achievement for the boys, kudos to the coaches and paints a great picture of the environment at Crosfields for junior development.
- Ian Talbot, Junior Chairman

The 3 young men from our u14s join another 3 who have re-signed from the 15s to give the soap 6 players in this years u16s scholarship programme.

Lewis Hall who plays Full Back / Centre for the u14s is a real athlete who can have a real impact across the park but is devastating taking on edge defenders or with space in front of him at fullback. Lewis was also offered a position at Widnes but chose Wire in the end.

Ryan Orr is an uncompromising prop forward with a real engine and loves to throw himself about in defence.

James Machin really found his feet throughout this season and has been a revelation when played at hooker however he shows real quality in either of the 6 or 7 shirt too.

These 3 join Jacob Chamberlin, Brad Holroyd and Tom Sutherland from the under 15s in this seasons squad.

Congratulations and good luck to all

Look out on Thursday when we have news of further signing's this time into the Academy ranks.
