Crosfields dominated the first half, racing into an early lead and taking complete control of the game, with Nate crossing for a superb hat-trick to help his side establish a commanding 16–4 advantage at the break.

Folly Lane came out strongly in the second half, and an early try shifted the momentum, putting Crosfields under pressure. A series of handling errors and mistakes allowed a determined Folly side back into the contest, but Crosfields' defence stood firm when it mattered most.

Despite conceding a late try, Folly Lane were unable to land the conversion, allowing Crosfields to hold on for a dramatic 22–20 victory and secure their place in the final.
